Daiwa Minicast System 4.5′ Casting Rod with Hardside Case

The Daiwa Minicast System is a compact fishing rod designed for backpacking and travel. The 4.5-foot, 5-piece rod breaks down for easy packing and features a pistol grip handle for secure one-handed casting. It handles lures from 1/16 to 1/4 ounce and comes pre-spooled with 4-pound test monofilament line, so you can fish right out of the case. The reel uses a high-speed 4:1:1 gear ratio and smooth multi-disc drag system, with a rugged metal body, nose cone, and gearing built to handle regular use. Push-button casting keeps operation simple. The rod arrives in a hardside carrying case for protection and portability.
