The Chive is a compact folding knife with a 2-inch 420 stainless blade finished in bead blast and a framelock design that’s popular for everyday carry. It opens via Kershaw’s Speed-Safe assisted mechanism, which uses a torsion bar to deliver reliable deployment when you thumb the stud. The handle is bead blast finished 2Cr13 stainless and includes a pocket clip and lanyard hole for carry options. Ken Onion’s design adds an extended tang for structural integrity, keeping the closed length at 2.88 inches.
