The Lew’s KVD Baitcast LFS is a left hand retrieve reel built around a one-piece aluminum frame with graphite sideplates and an anodized aluminum spool. It carries 9+1 bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing, with an 8.3:1 gear ratio that delivers 35 inches of line recovery per turn. Line capacity runs to 120 yards at 12 lb mono or 50 lb braid.
The reel’s braking system uses multi-setting adjustment, while the drag relies on a carbon fiber construction. The 95mm bowed carbon fiber handle is fitted with EVA knobs for grip. A zirconia line guide handles line management, and the reel includes a Zirconia line guide, along with Speed Keeper, Speed Dial, and Speed Lube features. An external lube port is integrated into the design for maintenance access.
