The Speed Spool is a right-hand retrieve baitcast reel built around a one-piece aluminum frame with a 5.6:1 gear ratio that recovers 23 inches of line per turn. It features 9+1 ball bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing for consistent engagement. The anodized aluminum U-shape 34mm spool holds 140 yards of 12 lb mono or 140 yards of 50 lb bait line. Drag is handled by a Rulon system, while an externally adjustable magnetic control system manages cast distance, and an external lube port allows easy access to the Speed Lube. The reel is fitted with solid brass Speed Gears, a Zirconia line guide, and graphite sideplates. The 95mm bowed anodized aluminum handle comes with paddle knobs for comfortable operation.
