Microtech’s Ultratech Gen IV is an automatic OTF with a 3.5-inch stonewash-finished Bohler M390MK stainless blade ground as a double-edge dagger. The blade deploys automatically when you press the firing mechanism. At 5 inches closed, it carries easily in a pocket thanks to the integrated clip, and a lanyard hole and glass breaker add utility. The handle is black aluminum. This is a folding knife despite the OTF mechanism—it retracts to pocket size rather than remaining deployed.
