The Ultratech Gen IV is a fully automatic out-the-front folder with a 3.5-inch Bohler M390MK stainless blade ground to a tanto point, half of which is serrated. The blade carries a two-tone finish that contrasts the polished and stonewashed sections. The merlot aluminum handle houses the automatic mechanism and measures 5 inches closed. A pocket clip and lanyard hole provide carry options, and a glass breaker is integrated into the handle for emergency situations.
