Silva Explorer 2.0 Compass with Scales and Magnifier

Silva’s Explorer 2.0 compass packs several navigation tools into a compact 2.2″ × 4.4″ baseplate. The 360-degree dial rotates within a turnable housing and includes red and black North/South lines for quick orientation. A built-in magnifier aids in reading fine map details, while romer scales cover 1:24k mile, 1:25k, 1:40k, and 1:50k map formats—standard scales for backcountry navigation. Inch and mm rulers run along the edges for distance measurement. The clinometer function determines slope angles, and declination adjustment accommodates local magnetic variation. A magnifying lens covers night use for up to four hours. The compass is waterproof and includes a slope card and scale lanyard for field attachment.
