Silva Ranger 2.0 Quad Compass with Sighting Mirror

The Silva Ranger 2.0 is a full-featured orienteering compass with a sighting mirror for precise bearing-taking and map work. The baseplate measures 2.4″ × 4.3″ with 4 × 90 degree graduations and includes inch and mm scales for reading maps at multiple standard scales: 1:24k mile, 1:25k, and 1:50k. A built-in magnifier aids map detail work, while the Romer scale provides quick map reference grid alignment. The turnable housing allows easy declination adjustment for local magnetic variation, and red and black North/South lines help orient maps quickly. The clinometer measures slopes for terrain analysis. Waterproof construction keeps it functional in wet conditions, and the luminous markings glow for up to four hours, enabling navigation in low light. A slope card and scale lanyard are included for field reference and attachment.
