Medford’s USMC EOD-1 is a fixed blade knife developed in collaboration with current Marine Corps EOD Technicians at 29 Palms. The 5.5-inch blade is forged from 3V steel with a black PVD coating and features a sawback edge with a blunt tip, while the full tang is anchored in a handle built from G10 and titanium. At 10.25 inches overall, it carries a side hammer pommel for striking and a carabiner hole designed for wire pulling—both features essential to explosive ordnance disposal work. The knife ships with a black Kydex belt sheath and a black nylon zippered storage pouch. Note that blade steel may change without notice depending on material availability at time of manufacture.
