The Streamlight Sidewinder Rescue is a 5″ personal light designed for emergency signaling and tactical use. Its 185-degree articulating head features a slide-in diffuser that spreads light in all directions, and the four integrated LEDs cover the full spectrum: a white C4 LED producing 55 lumens for primary illumination, blue (1.8 lumens) and green (4.5 lumens) for signaling, and an infrared LED for covert operations. Two AA batteries are included and power the unit, which is rated IPX-7 and waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes thanks to o-ring and gasket-sealed openings. The body is made of high-impact nylon with a gasket-sealed polycarbonate lens featuring a scratch-resistant coating. An aluminum mounting plate allows attachment of Velcro for helmet mounting, and cord attachment points in the battery compartment can support up to 25 pounds of load. Assembled in the USA and finished in Coyote Tan.
