These sharpening rods feature cubic boron nitride coating, an extremely hard abrasive second only to diamond in hardness, with superior abrasion resistance and thermal conductivity compared to conventional abrasives like silicon carbide and aluminum oxide. The 40 micron coarse grit is designed for aggressive stock removal, restoration work, and re-shaping, re-beveling, and re-profiling cutting edges. The set includes two 7″ rods and fits the SC204 Spyderco Sharpmaker sharpening system.
