This hand forged katana features a 28.3″ blade of differentially hardened 1095HC steel with a sanbon-suki style hamon and deep koshi-sori curve, bringing the overall length to 42″. The blade receives hand polishing to complement its traditional geometry. The brown hardwood saya is partially wrapped in white rayskin and finished with four layers of lacquer for protection and appearance. Hardware includes polished buffalo horn components at the koiguchi, kurikata, and kojiri, an alloy tsuba with flower pattern fuchi, kashira, and menukis, plus brass seppa and habaki. The katana ships with an embroidered BattleBlades sword bag and Certificate of Authenticity.
