The Bel Air XL is a folding knife built around Kershaw’s DuraLock mechanism, which uses a bar that locks the blade open from the spine side of the handle. The 3.38-inch blade is CPM MagnaCut stainless with a stonewash and satin finish, ground into a reverse tanto profile—a blade shape that combines a flat cutting edge with an upswept tip. The marbled carbon fiber handle scales provide structural rigidity in a relatively lightweight package, and the knife closes to 4.5 inches. Access is straightforward via thumb stud, and the pocket clip and lanyard hole support carry and retention options.
