The Loaded Leather Bench Strop measures 8 inches by 3 inches and features a polycarbonate core that resists warping, swelling, and cracking—even with moisture exposure. One side is pre-loaded with black coarse buffing compound for initial honing, while the other carries green fine buffing compound for finishing work. The leather has low acid content and the rigid core won’t lose its flat surface or break under normal use. This double-sided design is specifically engineered for honing convex edge knives.
