Coghlan’s Drinking Water Tablets 50-Count Emergency Disinfection

These iodine-based water purification tablets from Coghlan’s are designed for emergency disinfection of drinking water in field conditions. Each tablet treats up to a quart of water, and the 50-tablet pack provides enough for treating up to 25 quarts total. When used as directed, the tablets make most water bacteriologically suitable for drinking without imparting an unpleasant taste. The formula contains no chlorine, relying instead on an iodine compound for disinfection. They are intended for emergency use only and should not be used on a continuous basis.
