The Recon 4 is a cold-weather sleeping bag rated for operations down to -10C (14F), constructed with a 210T ripstop nylon outer shell on top featuring a Teflon finish and a heavier 210D oxford nylon bottom with PU2000mm waterproof coating. The interior uses 210T ripstop nylon with 200gm per square meter Dupont Thermolite micro insulation incorporating an anti-bacterial pure silver micro fiber layer that enhances heat retention. The foot area is reinforced with waterproof 210D nylon oxford to withstand boot contact, and the bag features bonded seams throughout for durability. A heavy-duty No 8 spiral zipper with central double puller, storm flap, and anti-snag hook and loop tab closure runs the length of the bag. The hood has a draw cord and barrel lock for adjustment, and internal and external hanging tabs allow for flexible deployment. An internal PDA pocket provides storage for small items, and the bag ships with a 210D nylon oxford compression sack.
