The RAO folder closes to 5.63 inches with a 4.75-inch black MIL-C-13924 burnished Bohler N690 stainless tanto blade and textured black aluminum handle. Its locking mechanism is an extra safe steel pin that hand-screws into place, securing the blade whether open or closed. The accompanying sheath holds a diamond-plate sharpener and converts the knife into a complete carry system: wear it open on tactical vests or belts via MOLLE attachment, or carry it closed in the front pocket. The sheath secures the open blade with a cord and two clips for retention during active use. A lanyard hole is integrated into the handle.
