This Herold Solingen strop is a dual-sided leather tool for straightening and maintaining straight razors and other fine blades. The reverse side features coarse green leather for pre-sharpening work, while the bright leather front side handles fine-sharpening with a polished finish. The strop measures approximately 13 3/8″ overall with a 7″ usable stropping length and 1 1/2″ width, mounted in a black wood handle with clamp. Use yellow paste HS601 on the front side and red solid paste from the HS501 set on the reverse to achieve optimal honing results on each side.
