The Lew’s Tournament MP is a right-hand retrieve baitcast reel built around a 9+1 bearing system and one-piece aluminum frame with graphite sideplates. It delivers an 8.3:1 gear ratio with 35″ of line recovery per turn, pairing a double anodized 34mm spool with a Zirconia line guide. The reel handles 120 yards of 12 lb monofilament or 120 yards of 50 lb bait line. Its multi-setting brake system and carbon fiber drag work with a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing to control cast distance and hook-set response. The 95mm bowed carbon fiber handle features EVA knobs and a Combat Grip thumb bar for extended casting sessions. Additional features include an external lube port for maintenance access, Speed Lube and Speed Gears for tuning, Speed Dial and Speed Keeper adjustment systems, and a carbon fiber construction throughout for weight reduction.
