The Maxpedition Typhoon is a 750 cubic inch backpack designed with modular organization and reinforced construction. The main compartment measures 13″ x 9.5″ x 4.5″ and includes an internal mesh divider, zipper pocket, and YKK zipper closure. A front upper pocket (8″ x 3.5″ x 2″) and larger front lower pocket (8″ x 7″ x 2″) with divider and organizer pockets provide additional sorted storage, while side pockets and a sheath pocket add quick-access capacity. The pack features double shoulder straps with a 3/4″ sternum strap and a reinforced drag handle. Modular webbing runs across the front, sides, and shoulder straps for attachment points. Construction includes #AS-100 closed-cell foam padding for shock protection, high tensile strength nylon webbing, #10 high strength zippers, UTX-Duraflex nylon buckles for quiet closures, and Ion thread throughout.
