The Okuma Acuador 3000 is a spinning reel built around a 5.0:1 gear ratio that retrieves 28 inches of line per handle turn. It features three ball bearings and one roller bearing, with a QuickSet anti-reverse bearing to eliminate backstop play. The drag system uses multi-disc, Japanese oiled felt washers and is rated to 15 pounds maximum.
The spool is machined aluminum with a two-tone anodized finish and LCS lip design. Line capacity runs 240 yards of 6-pound monofilament, 200 yards of 8-pound, or 160 yards of 10-pound; it will also handle 300 yards of 15-pound braid or 240 yards of 20-pound. The reel incorporates a machine-cut brass pinion gear and Cyclonic Flow Rotor technology for consistent rotation and reduced drag friction.
