The Okuma Inspira A 2000 is a light-duty spinning reel built around rigid aluminum TCA construction with an oversized HDGII main gear and machined cut brass pinion gear for smooth retrieval. It features 8 ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing, a 6.0:1 gear ratio, and delivers 31.1 inches of line retrieve per turn. The multi-disk Carbonite and stainless steel drag washer system handles up to 11 pounds of maximum drag, while the QuickSet anti-reverse roller bearing eliminates back-spin. Line capacity runs 415 yards of 2-pound monofilament, 220 yards of 4-pound, or 165 yards of 6-pound mono; braid capacity is 180 yards of 10-pound or 140 yards of 15-pound line. An aluminum screw-in handle and solid aluminum bail wire complete the design. The Flite Drive system is integrated throughout.
