The P-51 operates on the same principle as its smaller predecessor: a hinged metal tooth folds out to pierce the lid, while a notch under the hinge keeps the opener anchored to the can rim as you work it around to cut the lid free. The flat metal handle also serves as a screwdriver. At 51mm in length, it’s roughly twice the size of the P-38 model, offering a larger grip for easier operation.
