Silva Ranger Global Compass US with Declination Scale

The Silva Ranger Global Compass US is a baseplate compass with a global needle that works across all three magnetic zones, making it suitable for navigation anywhere in the world. The 2.16″ x 4.37″ baseplate features map-measuring scales in mm and map ratios of 1:25k and 1:50k, with an additional slope card for terrain assessment. The included distance lanyard has four map scales (1:24k, 1:25k, 1:50k, and 1:62.5) for quick reference without switching tools. A use-anywhere declination scale inside the capsule allows you to adjust for local magnetic variation, and a built-in magnifying lens aids precision work on detailed maps. The curved-up back end and DryFlex grip are designed for comfortable, stable handling in the field. Red and black north-south lines on the capsule bottom help with quick, accurate compass settling. Luminous markings on the needle and dial enable navigation in low light. The compass is waterproof and constructed with a clear baseplate and contemporary typography throughout for straightforward readability.
