The included distance lanyard has four map scales (1:24k, 1:25k, 1:50k, and 1:62.5) for quick reference without switching tools. A use-anywhere declination scale inside the capsule allows you to adjust for local magnetic variation, and a built-in magnifying lens aids precision work on detailed maps.
